Problem was connected to Sphinx building documentation; it was looping in line 760 of /usr/lib/python2.6/os.py: while n - len(bs) >= 1: bs += read(_urandomfd, n - len(bs)) This was not related to bug #599782 - call trace was from sphinx importing random number generator (?) I do not know what caused this error - but now it does not occur.
