There are many outstanding bugs without patches that are rather critical to skip forever. Before moving Trac from one VCS to another the first thing that should be done is fixing them. For example, I find that for migrating servers to Lenny the following bug is absolutely necessary to be fixed and it doesn't matter where the fix will reside. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=501338 Another thing that should be done is clear Debian Python Policy with Tutorial. Current dichotomy and uncertainty is not acceptable for maintaining "Modules" and "Applications". Trac is perhaps the most attractive and useful piece of Python software inside Debian. And there are many people who would like to bring it to the latest and greatest version. Let's make an exemplary package for others out of it - with proper DB/environment migrations. --anatoly t. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-python-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
