The 4Suite, from FourThought LLC, is a suite of XML tools for Python. Included are a CORBA-ready DOM implementation (due to dependencies, however, my packages will not at first include CORBA support) and implementations of XSLT and XPath. (And there are more on the way.) All of these are open source (under a license like that of the Python interpreter).
