I was reading debian.midco.net/debian/Incoming/REPORT, and came accross the description for task-python. Since I didn't know who the maintainer was, and I didn't think the bug system would accept bugs on yet, I sent this here.
Task-python's description says you may want to install one of the these editing enviroments, which have support for Python syntax highlighting ... vim-python. The vim package has support for python syntax highlighting. Vim-python also includes "Python interpreter support", which I think means you can use Python in as you would elisp in Emacs. It's not necessary if you just want syntax highlighting, though. -- David Starner - [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you wish to strive for peace of soul then believe; if you wish to be a devotee of truth, then inquire. -- Friedrich Nietzsche
