Does Debian provide some means for someone making a modified distribution based on Debian to easily contribute their work back to Debian?
For example, if Ubuntu folks were so inclined, could they make a Ubuntu branch in Debian version control and work on that branch? I know this is not practical, because Ubuntu most likely wants to have their own repository and may not use same version control system as Debian Project. Might work for some smaller derived work, though. Is there in Bug Tracking System some means, tag for example, to show bug is not in official Debian but in the modified distribution? So the mod distro makers could use Debian BTS instead of making their own separate BTS. -- Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED]
