You know, being unable to update the webpage has been a nasty recurring problem. The web site should be able to be the first place people can check when something is amiss, and it's not. I think we ought to reconsider the priorities. If having servers all over the world means that people can't get current information, then we need to re-think that. I have never understood why this is the case, though; it would seem easy enough to at least log on to the machine that hosts *the* www.debian.org and vi a couple of files. -- John
