The line has to be drawn somewhere, otherwise you may argue that you'd better kill yourself because that is the only way to make sure you don't die from getting hit by a meteor or some similar incident. ;) Markus asked if the compromise affects his wish to use Debian. According to the information that has been provided, it does not. There's no point of delving into complicated elaborations that say nothing is ever secure.
