There was a recent announcment on the Debian Developers announcement list by the release manager. This is targeted at the developers and should not be considered a promise to the end user. If you can fix bugs, see http://bugs.debian.org/release-critical/ and submit patches. The new installer does need testing. Please try it and submit good bug reports when it breaks. Then try it a week later and submit bug reports on the new bugs. The installer is discussed on the debian-boot mailing list. -- Blars Blarson [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.blars.org/blars.html With Microsoft, failure is not an option. It is a standard feature.
