Package: ghostscript Version: 10.0.0~dfsg-11+deb12u3 Severity: normal Hello Steve, ghostscript used to contain German man pages, however, they were not properly maintained. As detailed in [1] ghostscript removed the German man pages from its git repository on January 4th 2023.
So the files are gone since Version 10.01.0rc1. I imported them into manpages-de and will start shipping them with the next release. As per transition rules [2] you will need to add Breaks: manpages-l10n (<4.22) in your debian/control. I will then add Breaks: ghostscript (<<?) Replaces: ghostscript (<<?) In my debian/control. I'm a bit lost about the correct version, though. So which version is best for "?" I intend to upload around March 23 and I will provide a backport to stable (without these translations, of course).
