Package: hpijs Version: 3.12.10a-1 Severity: normal I recently upgraded to a Photosmart 7520, and ran into trouble when trying to set it up with the hpijs driver: the driver syslogged
prnt/hpijs/hpijs.cpp 269: unable to set device=HP Color LaserJet 2600n, err=48 prnt/hpijs/hpijs.cpp 290: unable to set device=HP Color LaserJet 2600n, err=48 prnt/hpijs/hpijs.cpp 697: unable to read client data err=-2 and fed the printer a "test page" consisting of the line **** Unable to open the initial device, quitting. I at least had no such trouble with the hpcups driver, with which I'm happy to stick now that iceweasel finally lets me request duplexing. All the same, this is a bug, so please do look into it.
