I want to be able to send files directly to my printer. This used to be
possible by using a command such as:
cat /[path]/file.ps > /dev/usb/lp0
However, now that CUPS does not allow the use of the usblp driver the
lp0 device is not longer present.
It seems that there should be a udev rule to create the device node,
probably using libusb, but which package should be responsible for
providing this rule?
Or how else can files be sent directly to printers?
