Agreed. I plead ignorance about these particular dependencies. Compare Bug#613580 (advocating changing the dependency by libgs9 to a Recommends) and Bug#613597 (requesting clarification of gs-cjk-resource's other dependencies). Anyway, it looks like any one of the two packages could fix this, so reassigning.
