Hi,
Please forgive my terse post, as I'm not very familiar with Debian, even though
I play around with it occasionally.

Generally, kernel 6.16.3 causes the screen to freeze on my G5 with a GF6600
(illegible and blurry text, and other artifacts). I have the impression (I
could be wrong) that the system is working because the keyboard responds to the
numlock key, i.e., the LED on the keyboard lights up, but nothing happens on
the screen. There's also no way to access the TTY.

This problem doesn't occur with kernel 6.12.21.

Regards,
Kris
