xserver-xorg-legacy *isn't* a driver package. It's the package that needs to be installed if you want to install and use old drivers such as the r128 and mach64 drivers. I have not worked on the drivers yet, so there is not point in trying further to get X.Org working until that's done. Adrian -- .''`.
