Hi,
as an alternative to pressing the "c" key to boot for cd rom, you could
try to press "Command,” “Option,” “O” and “F” keys simultaneously as the
machine boots to access the Open Firmware interface.
at open firmware prompt type :
0 > boot|/cd:/|/||/,\boot\grub\powerpc.elf
select normal install.

DO NOT WORK.
AVOID that page.
The grub installer does not install and the machine will never boot to
grub. May as well go back a rev or two until I find a working installer
image.
