Hi all!
I took the time today and transitioned my iBook to the "new" sources,
that would be:
deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ unstable main
deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ unreleased main
I left out buildd for now.
SO I can check all your latest work and stay uptaded, thanks Adrian!
The only thing I will no test for now is yaboot vs. grub because it requires
some repartitioning I fear.
I did:
1) force trusted sources
2) update
3) install keyring
4) remove trust force
I was able to update already a lot of packages! new gcc8 compiler, etc. This is
good, so I can actually test my code and keep it woking on PPC.
New kernel and new X server and they appear to work fine too (woah, that's
always a test on such an old computer)
However some packages appear to be missing for dbus, systemd and such. Look at
this error:
