My answer asking you just to send the patches came within 50 minutes after your
mail. You wrote all the patches and the wall of text within that time?
On GitHub and maybe also on GitLab one can comment specific lines of patches -
would this be an alternative? But this would also mean a "media break" (mailing
list => Git* => mailing list), so perhaps not a good idea. I'd be happy to
continue
with the mailing list alone.
No, please let's focus on the mailing list. And I would appreciate if you didn't
mix your howtos for Rick with the patches for me in one mail. This makes
reviewing
the changes extremely hard as I will have to fish the changes I should review
out
of the huge amount of information.
Can you please focus on the patches now first and re-send them for a proper
review?
