Ok, feel free to ping me back then. To build the modified udeb, you can just use sbuild as usual, the same way you build normal Debian packages.
On the other hand, that change shouldn't affect any other subarches than "newworld_powermac", so why not create a new image. But wait for my next message, because there could be more changes to incorporate. :-)
