OK not fixed in 4.6 (I misread it). Will be fixed in some future
version soon.
I can confirm that 4.6 doesn't work, but modprobing airport manually
gets it up working.
I just noticed apt-get update made 4.6 available to me yesterday and I
gave it a try.
the work around is easy enough! important is that it works at all.
I will now test with 4.6 how wifi survives latop sleep and play with the
new firmware again.
