Yes, exactly. Actually i agree, there's little to blame in Installer. Only one small thing - nobody told me that my layout (previously worked) became incorrect. Perhaps Installer should warn about it ? Or, we can consider one more corner case. What if i install the whole OS to a single EXT2 partition ? Yes, again, i agree, you may ask "Why, EXT2 is outdated and there's cool new EXT4".
