Hi, haskell-http-conduit fails to build on powerpc as follows:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=haskell-http-conduit&arch=powerpc&ver=1.9.0-2&stamp=1369944722 simpleHttp accept: unsupported operation (Function not implemented) accept: unsupported operation (Function not implemented) accept: unsupported operation (Function not implemented) accept: unsupported operation (Function not implemented) accept: unsupported operation (Function not implemented) - gets homepage FAILED [1] [... and a giant pile of similar-looking failures ...] The Internet's best guess appears to be http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12332471/haskell-network-accept-unsupported-operation-function-not-implemented, but ghc and haskell-http-conduit were both built on praetorius with the same kernel version. Furthermore, haskell-http-conduit builds cleanly on partch (the powerpc porter box), albeit running Linux 3.2 rather than 2.6.32. Comparing with older versions is no help, as they had the test suite disabled. Does anyone recognise this problem, or have access to a machine where they could investigate it directly? Even an strace of one of the tests failing might be helpful.
