List,

        I was just looking at the Oracle site as they have released Java 7.
There are built releases for Linux of the x86 and x64 variety along with
OS X 64b. And no PowerPC of course.

I wonder if Java 7 can make it into the PowerPC packages? Can the
Openjdk-7 build on a PowerPC?

I suppose I am asking how does this work but I am not seeking details as
if I were to attempt such a project
