You will have to pass ipv6.disable=1 option to kernel. You can to this by adding append="ipv6.disable=1" to an image section in yaboot.conf. Example: image=/boot/vmlinux label=Linux read-only initrd=/boot/initrd.img append="ipv6.disable=1" run ybin after editing the yaboot.conf file, then reboot.
