Your HFS+ partition must be corrupted in some way. If you had a copy of Diskwarrior or Drive Genius and can still boot from a CD, you might still be able to save your current installation. They have saved my bacon a number of times. Otherwise, it looks like you are going to have to reinstall OS X.
Doesn't look like anyone else on this list has a better idea.
