Bad news. I compile a custom kernel this weekend, setting CONFIG_SCSI_PROC_FS to 'y'. In the official one, it is turned off so no legacy /proc/scsi directory. I will pray for this to work, as this is my last idea. Anyway, does the official installer work on your G5?
