Hello all, Is it possible to build the Windows-based GCC powerpc cross-compiler using MinGW cross-build environment based on Debian Linux?
I know about the Cygwin (and it is definitely possible here), however I'd like to ask you about the possibility of the MinGW approach for this task. Obviously, it should be the compiler, built on a Linux host, generating powerpc binaries, but it should compile them on a Windows host. Ditto for binutils. The goal is to have the complete powerpc crosstools running on a Windows host. I guess, the "configure" arguments would be "--target=powerpc-linux-gnu --host=i386-linux-mingw --build=i386-linux-gnu"? Will this work? Regards, Sergei -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-powerpc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
