Dear debian user, I am trying to get WOL (Wake On LAN) working on my MacMiniG4/ppc. ethtool reports something that looks right:
$ sudo ethtool eth0 Settings for eth0: Supported ports: [ TP MII ] Supported link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full Supports auto-negotiation: Yes Advertised link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full Advertised auto-negotiation: Yes Speed: 100Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: MII PHYAD: 0 Transceiver: external Auto-negotiation: on Supports Wake-on: g Wake-on: g Current message level: 0x00000007 (7) Link detected: yes However afert a shutdown (sudo poweroff), I can not wake the machine up. I double-check the Mac adress twice, and I can wake up the Intel-Based PC right next to it... Any suggestion ? Should I change anything in open firmware ?
