the optimized OS X Mozilla builds available from http://www.rpm-mozilla.org.uk 
. before downloading, type "machine" from Terminal.app to find out  
which proc is in your system. i use both Camino and Thunderbird  
without a real noticeable difference on a G5 running Leopard with 2+  
GB RAM but it's more noticeable on a 1 GB memory starved G4 Mac mini  
running Tiger.
