I am trying to use an x86 host desktop PC to compile a kernel for an
old PBG4.

I got as far as setting up a cross compiler toolchain for powerpc (using
buildtroot).

I copied the config file over and made the necessary changes.

At this point I would like to use the make-kpkg command but how do I
specify the paths for the proper toolchain to use?

Right now I am using the command:

make-kpkg --initrd --cross-compile powerpc --revision=test.kernel_image

Am I proceeding correctly?

Thanks,
Amit
