That's very nice. The dlink adaptor is supported natively in the vanilla
kernel.org kernels and the upstream developer is very responsive (Ivo
van Doorn and John Linville).
Regarding a brand, I got myself from the region of "Santa Ifigênia", but
I guess that's not feasible for you, since you seem to live quite far
from here.
