Hi Aníbal On 27 Feb, this message from Aníbal Monsalve Salazar echoed through cyberspace: > What versions are you using on the server and client?
Server: 1:1.0.10-6+etch.1 Client: 1:1.1.4-1 (upgraded from 1:1.1.2-6lenny1 on 20090220) > Can you reproduce the bug with version 1:1.1.4-1 of nfs-common and/or > nfs-kernel-server? Yes, that is the version that exhibits the problem. > http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=492970 Aha... Missed that one because it is archived. My client is running kernel 2.6.15, so using legacy mount command. /proc/mounts doesn't show the sec= status. "mount" only shows the option that I gave to the mount command, but doesn't show the sec= in effect if I provide none. So I have found no way to verify what sec= is in effect. In other words, the problem reported in #492970 is still present: mount.nfs from nfs-utils 1.1.4-1 does not work on kernels with legacy nfs mount interface. New bug report? Thanks, and cheers Michel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michel Lanners | " Read Philosophy. Study Art. 23, Rue Paul Henkes | Ask Questions. Make Mistakes.
