I am not sure I understand the question. In yaboot.conf you can set all kind of 
preferences, then you run
ybin and you're all set.

1) Install bcm43xx-fwcutter
2) Install the firmware from the Windows driver using the aforementioned 
software
3) # modprobe bcm43xx
4) Install NetworkManager and configure your new eth interface

There's plenty of guides around about the bcm43xx driver.
