Hello PowerPC porters, Unfortunately, I still can't log in to bruckner for some reason, so I haven't been able to investigate this bug further. Another Debian user has now reported that a simple rebuild of gtimer apparently makes the problem go away on his system. That would be great if so, although I don't see any possibly relevant changes to gcc.
If as reported earlier decreasing the optimization level works around the problem, I can do that for PowerPC for the upcoming etch release. I'd love to be able to get to the bottom of the actual problem, though. Could anyone with access to a PowerPC system take a look and see if you can understand what's going on and what the current status is? If you can confirm that a simple rebuild of the package fixes the problem, I'll ask for the binNMU. -- Russ Allbery ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
