Hi, Jack,

I have problems with the network configuration [ibook G4 2004+Sid]
today after I updated [1] yesterday,

when I switch on the computer an error message appears while loading
IPv6:

: eth0: no IPv6 routers present

so I restarted the networking service

 # /etc/init.d/networking restart

and now I can reply to your mail ;-)

(without rebooting ;-)

cheers,

Giovanni

P.S.

If you have a better understanding of the package responsible
for that behaviour would you please file a bug? I will do it
late in the afternoon.

[1] well I have to check which package I updated yesterday...
but I removed the files in the cache :-( and now I'm in
    a hurry.
