Hi All I'm looking for a fast way to get the very latest git kernel files:
What I found so far: http://kernel.org/ seems to have very fresh git files: If I understand the logs correctly, they're just a few hours old: <http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux%2Fkernel%2Fgit%2Ftorvalds%2Flinux-2.6.git;a=summary> Or, to get the most freshest kernel git files, does it really make sense to $ git pull git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git as it is recommended on <http://linux.yyz.us/git-howto.html#download_first_time> ? There are even more recipes: $ git clone rsync://rsync.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/git.git on http://kerneltrap.org/node/5718 And here's still another version: http://kerneltrap.org/node/5196 Hints to what rules most, from a user's perspective, who does nothing more than getting the lates git sources and build a kernel .deb with them? Thanks in anticipation Best Regards Wolfgang -- Wolfgang Pfeiffer: /ICQ: 286585973/ + + + /AIM: crashinglinux/ http://profiles.yahoo.com/wolfgangpfeiffer Key ID: E3037113 http://keyserver.mine.nu/pks/lookup?search=0xE3037113&fingerprint=on -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
