I cannot reproduce this. The trackpad works fine if I wake the iBook by touching the trackpad. I tested it on my iBook G4 12" 1,33GHz (mid-2005) with recent Gentoo Linux, vanilla kernel 2.6.15 and pbbuttons 0.7.4. I tried it with the synaptics driver and without. Any Ideas what could be the relevant difference between our systems? However for me it looks like a bug, that it is possible to wake the iBook by touching the trackpad or pressing the trackpad button. I also have an iBook G3 800 where this is not possible. In Mac OS X this is also not possible on both iBooks. And this does make more sense, because my iBook G4 also wakes up for a short time if I grab it to take it out of my bag. The lid of the iBook then presses on the trackpad button and makes it wake up :-( cu, Magnum -- Carl Magnus Rosenbaum M.A. Tel: 089 - 700 666 26 Administration - Programmierung - Weiterbildung Fax: 089 - 700 666 86 http://cmr.forestfactory.de/ Mobil: 0163 - 700 666 2 PGP Fingerprint: DEBC 3C99 EF1D 74F0 D4C7 EFF5 C268 3690 0EA1 7641 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
