Same here (Can't paste the output from the Alu5,8 as I write this email from the TiBook ... ) So I'll try to compile 2.6.16 myself: Any caveats for doing that, or does anybody have some kernel patches he'd like to get tested on the Powerbook 5,8 (Save a new CONFIG_USB_HIDINPUT_POWERBOOK patch, because I'd like to test the one as shipped with 2.6.16 from kernel.org first - provided it is not known to fail on the PowerBook 5,8)?
