You can pull current git snapshot and just add that patch to drivers/macintosh/windfarm_smu_controls.c and let me know how it goes ?
Same as before. The fan does not stop ... 2.6.15-git4 with the patch. Find attached the dmesg output, with DEBUG turned on for drivers/macintosh/windfarm_pm81.c and drivers/macintosh/windfarm_smu_controls.c. And the device-tree tarball. Don't give up :). Eduardo.
