Hi, I just reinstalled debian and I can confirm it, running xscreensaver makes the flickering, stoping it stop the flickering.
Also my sound problems are fixed, not really sure how, I reinstalled debian and installed the 2.6.14 kernel (i had 2.6.13 before). On Sun, 2005-11-13 at 17:41 +0100, Antonio-M.
