that could simply be that ofpath prefers to display aliases when openfirmware gives the real system path. given the bootloader failed, it probably took you to OF, which was also accessible before by typing some cryptic key combinations (if it's not <command><alt>+O+F, it is in the installation manual). > Now the important: If I do a "dev /pci/mac-io/ata0/[EMAIL PROTECTED],0" > followed by > an "words" I get NO words.
