I'm getting alarm clock, but I've done "everything" right. kernel-source 2.6.11 from apt, as of today I'm running the 15" tibook with the Matshita DVD-R UJ-815 D0C4
1. I have downloaded the newest cdrecord-wrapper.sh and cdrecord-prodvd-2.0-powerpc-linux-unknown-gnu from ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD 2. I put both in /usr/local/bin, and made a symlink from the binary to /usr/local/bin/cdrecord-ProDVD (to match the cdrecord-wrapper.sh script). 3. Not that it should make a difference, but I copied the CDR_SECURITY environment variable from cdrecord-wrapper.sh into my bash_profile, and reloaded my profile. 4. I execute the standard command > cdrecord-wrapper.sh dev=0,0,0 -v /tmp/dumpV1.iso After it says that real write begins in 10... 9... 8... I get Alarm Clock. (always after 8). I noticed that CDR_SECURITY doesn't contain the string powerpc-linux-unknown-gnu, although it does contain many arch-os strings. > ls -al /usr/local/bin/cdrecord* lrwxrwxrwx 1 jsn jsn 45 2005-07-02 23:12 /usr/local/bin/cdrecord-ProDVD -> cdrecord-prodvd-2.0-powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu -rwxr-xr-x 1 jsn jsn 381964 2005-07-02 23:12 /usr/local/bin/cdrecord-prodvd-2.0-powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu -rwxr-xr-x 1 jsn jsn 511 2005-07-02 23:12 /usr/local/bin/cdrecord-wrapper.sh Thanks in advance for any advice, Josh Narins -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
