I have the same problem with debian 3.1.(kernel 2.6) My computer is a
alu powerbook G4 17" (1.67 Ghz) and the resolution is 1440x900px.
with Radeon 9600 128mb.
I'm new linux user, somebody can explain how to configure my monitor
