Have you checked out the linux-wlan-ng ? Their HW compatibility list
(http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz) mentions DWL
122 adapter.
do an "apt-get search wlan-ng" and install the package.

I have wlan support, i have checked with dmesg (and nothing appears,
both ural and prism54 (with prism54 i get a insmod error and a
callback trace, something like if modprobe crashed ???))but i
understand
ural is not the correct driver.
I think prism54 is the correct one, but, even with firmware and
hotplug
in place and correct, nothing happensa, eccept an error when i
modprobe
the module.
