I can confirm that the driver compiles and run for linux-2.6.12-rc6
and is not usable. After a while the mouse pointer starts wiggling around.
Sometimes this stopps after moving the touchpad, sometimes it does not.
There is a touchpad-debug.py application which looked interesting,
it felt a lot smoother then the results of driver.c,
but also I could not really understand it.
