Hi, I now this is not ppc specific, but maybe somebody can give me a short answer.
Recently I had a crash of my system and got some scrambled files. Among them was one of the aptitude files from a recent update. I think it was /var/lib/aptitude/pkgstates. Since I had no backup of that file I simply deleted it. Everything seems fine, except that I lost the information about which packages were installed automatically. And aptitude does not show the new packages after an update. So what can I do? Thanks, Martin
