I am currently trying to cross compile 2.6.10 for ppc64 for my Dual G5.

I could make my like easy and just do a standard compile (no extras) - but what's the fun in that?

For 2.6.9 I messed around a bit and got AGP compiling for ppc64 - the final result was that AGP modules loaded but did not recognise my ATI 9600 - unknown chipset! - but at least it compiled.

I would like to do the same for 2.6.10 - but document it this time.

My question is: Is this a worthwhile exercise ? and if it is, Is there someone else also doing the same thing?

Even if it is not worthwhile in the global sense of the word - I will continue for my own personal satisfaction and development.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all on the list!

Paddy.
