I have a g3 wallstreet 266mhz and trying to compile my own 2.6.8 kernel i recieve the following:
include/linux/kdev_t.h: In function `old_decode_dev': include/linux/kdev_t.h:34: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions. For Debian GNU/Linux specific bug reporting instructions, see <URL:file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-3.3/README.Bugs>. make[1]: *** [mm/fadvise.o] Error 1 make: *** [mm] Error 2 however im recieving other errors during the compile that crashes the make, wondering if it is possibly a broken gcc? (ive uninstalled and reinstall) or perhaps a bus error? any help appreciated. Thanks- -- "Bad Design + Bad Coding - QA = APMT APMT = application patched many times" -Cesar Cerrudo
