I don't remember - it's been a really long time since I last had to do a basic installation. Take a look in /etc/apt. I'm not at my Debian machine anymore, and won't be till next week, but there should be a file in there called sources.list. Edit this file and change instances of "stable" in that file to "testing" After this, you should run "apt-get update" so that your packing list and dependencies are for "testing" and then "apt-get upgrade" to actually upgrade the software packages.
