Hi there, I use Sid on my iBook G4. I am trying to write a gdesklet to monitor the cpu temperature, and I have a problem with the output of
cat /sys/devices/temperatures/cpu_temperature You can read what I did this far here: http://gnomesupport.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7388 Now, I have set the locale to UTF, but still I get this $ cat /sys/devices/temperatures/cpu_temperature 50[]C Anybody have a good hint for me?
