But I'm not using ALSA (AFAIK). My app is ogg123 in general, and it has several buffers: --audio-buffer n Use an output audio buffer of approximately 'n' kilobytes. -b n, --buffer n Use an input buffer of approximately 'n' kilobytes. -p n, --prebuffer n Prebuffer 'n' percent of the input buffer. Playback won't begin until this prebuffer is complete. Of course, if ogg123 doesn't work properly with the default buffer size, it is a bug. Concerning the device, I tried both the default one (I don't know what it is) and the esd one. I don't know if there is a recommended one. -- Vincent Lefèvre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.org/> 100% validated (X)HTML - Acorn / RISC OS / ARM, free software, YP17, Championnat International des Jeux Mathématiques et Logiques, etc. Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / SPACES project at LORIA
